REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year of office experience.
2 years of medical office experience preferred.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to commute to the Roanoke, VA office Monday through Friday.
Compassionate and patient-focused, especially when working with a predominantly senior citizen patient base.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome Visitors: Create a memorable first impression with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Coordinate Patient Care: Accurately document audiologist recommendations, ensuring patients understand what to expect during their care journey.
Handle Accounting Tasks: Record charges and fees, process payments, and explain hearing aid insurance benefits and office policies.
Manage Incoming Calls: Provide front-office support by assisting with incoming and outgoing calls during peak hours.
Build Relationships: Foster excellent working relationships with patients, vendors, and colleagues.
