Currently have an exciting open opportunity for a Global Product (Marketing) Manager in our Sample Repository Services (SRS) Division. The role will be based at SRS headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. Working at our Burlington, MA, corporate headquarters is an option.

The Product (Marketing) Manager will work in a cross-functional environment discussing service and technology roadmaps with multiple internal and external stakeholders across Azenta and the industry including central business leads and key customers. With her/his hands on mentality she/her will drive our services and products to the next level bringing our visions of the best-in-class sample management and sample storing offerings to life.
What you'll do
As Product (Marketing) Manager at Azenta you will develop and run marketing initiatives, projects and strategic market research designed to support, grow and promote current Azenta Life Sciences service lines.
Analyze market trends and characterize the competitive landscape to identify target markets and develop lead generation strategies
Engage with customers, identify pain points and opportunities and define service/product requirements for increasing customer and business value through new services or service differentiation by representing the voice of the customer
Evaluate and communicate competitive threats, strengths and weaknesses, and fine-tune service offerings and forecasts accordingly
Work with business leaders and stakeholders to define pricing strategy, service positioning and differentiation
Support enterprise and business unit planning and forecasting
Work with marketing communications to develop content and strategies for outbound communication and sales collateral
Develop and implement company-wide go-to-market plans for new services and work with all departments to execute
What you'll bring
Master's Degree in Life Sciences or Business required
Ph.D. in Life Sciences or Business preferred
6-8 years of experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical marketing, product management or market research, experience in the sample management and storage market preferred
Excellent analytical skills and proficient with Excel, understanding of business financial requirements
Experience in developing and presenting product marketing materials required
Understanding of biobanking, genomics, clinical trials, genomics, or molecular biology products and services
Demonstrated proficiency in marketing or product management including participating in market analysis, price building, planning and new product development
Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
