In this corporate strategic sourcing role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's three North American manufacturing sites. Working closely with the Global VP of Operations, you will focus on:
Sourcing electronics, components, and contract manufacturing services to support the company's production needs.
Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, including new supplier sourcing, cost negotiations, supplier performance management, and value engineering/cost reduction activities.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier relationships, including category management, strategic sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proficiency in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and vendor management.
Experience in sourcing electronic components and materials within the electronics industry.
Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
