Shift(s) required: 8 hour shift, approximately 8am-4pm CT M- F
Contract role for 6 months with possibility of extension.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation and optimization of the CarePort case management system. This role serves as a clinical expert, providing guidance on best practices and workflow efficiencies while collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to identify needs and ensure the system meets clinical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate current case management processes and recommend improvements.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Work with the Hospital Case Management Director and project teams to design and implement the system.
Partner with IT and other departments to support project goals.
Capture and document business requirements to align system capabilities with clinical needs.
Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose solutions for better case management processes.
Participate in team efforts to share best practices and optimize operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN) required; Master's preferred.
Experience:
3+ years in hospital case management and system application required.
Experience with CarePort and electronic medical records (Meditech, Epic, Cerner) required.
Licenses:
Current RN license required.
