Corestaff is the official MSP resourcing partner for Porsche Cars North America for contractor positions operating and managing their nationwide contingent workforce program. This role is a Corestaff contract position with placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.
The Financial Coordinator is responsible for the Porsche Classic business financial reporting and analysis. This includes all sales reporting and documentation for internal/external revenues from all business units within Porsche Classic, the reconciliation of all processed payments, and reporting of deferred revenues. The role will work closely with the Senior Manager, Porsche Classic to set annual budgets and track the P&L daily, weekly and monthly liaising with PCNA Finance, also ensuring that all Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) targets are met and operating criteria are adhered to. Responsibilities also include analyzing operational business plans and activity to evaluate the impact, forecast results and seek to maximize and improve the overall business result for Porsche Classic.
The Financial Coordinator needs to ensure brand deliverables and processes are properly integrated, measured and accounted at all times. From an accounting perspective, the role is responsible to process payments for vendors while maintaining and tracking the budget for Porsche Classic with a thorough understanding of the operational accounting, finance and procurement process and directives to ensure compliance and working knowledge of the overall budget.
As a member of Porsche Classic, the Financial Coordinator is required to support the overall objectives of the Porsche Classic business units. This requires the role understand the businesses of Porsche Classic, the customer experience and is able to make decisions on behalf of the team as necessary. This requires that the role be customer facing when needed and interact with our operating vendor teams.
Roles & responsibilities
Maintain, analyze, and report on budgets of all active Porsche Classic Factory Restoration (PCFR) projects
Forecast cash flow and margin development on all PCFR projects
Lead all PCFR customer billing and payment activities
Support all customer estimate activities
Support budget analyses and management requests for Porsche Classic business unit
Responsible for the coordination of all accounting and controlling deliverables for Porsche Classic with liaison to PCNA headquarter departments
Act as an interface between Porsche Classic and different organizations within PCNA headquarters including finance, accounting, and controlling
Consolidation and allocation of budgets to be reviewed with PCNA Finance
Design and implement cost control procedures and prepare financial forecasts incl. relevant reports
Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance
Propose changes to ensure organization achieves financial targets
Work with the Porsche Classic management team to maximize overall P/L results
Assisting the management team with status reports, KPI's and business reporting
Responsible for tracking of all contracts and internal documents such as RFA's and AFE's
Produce weekly and monthly reports of the overall Porsche Classic business to include sales data, operating results, finance data and marketing campaign results
Process and track all invoices and payments for Porsche Classic while following PCNA guidelines and directives
Work in concert with Porsche Classic management team to ensure alignment among operating vendors
Contribute to the integrity of operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Management of Porsche Classic suppliers and agencies to ensure the Porsche operating and procurement guidelines are followed on site
Coordinating with PCNA Finance on payment and invoicing, and revenue
Responsible for the proper usage of, awareness of, and compliance of policies within PCNA
Seek to ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrate an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic formats
Special projects as assigned
Understanding the PCFR order management system to ensure efficient co-ordination and correct information is reported and reconciled
Porsche product knowledgeable
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field/equivalent
Minimum 1-year accounting experience with CDK Global dealer management system
High Proficiency with standard accounting processes and terminology
Ability to work in a multicultural team, team-oriented working attitude
High degree of self-motivation and positive problem-solving capabilities
High Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
Ability to efficiently multi-task with proficient organizational and time management skills
