The Materials Coordinator will play an integral part in the daily Materials and Logistics operations for the Fortescue Hydrogen Systems Team (Ionix). Our mission is to remain flexible and agile in assisting the FHS Team to having the right part, in the right place, at the right time, at the right cost, while maintaining supplier and internal stakeholder relations.
Key Responsibilities
Timely processing of Purchasing and logistics requests from the FHS and Contracts & Procurement Teams
Recording, tracking, and reporting of Purchase Order status as requested/required.
Manage local and interstate material movements.
Manage international material imports and exports. Liaise with Suppliers, Receivers and Freight forwarders to ensure all required import and export documentation is provided in an accurate and timely manner with regard to Dangerous Goods documentation and declarations, International Trade Agreements and Conventions, Import Duty Calculations.
Process Service Entry Sheets for invoices submitted against Service Purchase Orders
Training and Support for Warehouse Assistants. Assist with SAP Goods Receipting and Warehouse/General tasks where required and during Warehouse Assistant leave.
Assist with continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Liaise with Suppliers, Purchasing, Vendor Info and Accounts Payable Teams to resolve invoice exceptions.
Communicate lead time changes, logistics details etc to internal stakeholders as requested/required.
Operate materials handling equipment; Forklift to load/unload deliveries, move materials around Facility. Hydraulic pallet lifters and hand trolleys to move materials.
Assist Warehouse Assistants to perform stocktakes, re-order and maintain stock of Warehouse Consumable items.
Liaise with Suppliers to resolve discrepancies related to material deliveries ie undersupply, damage etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
SAP Materials Management (MM)
SAP Fiori
3-5yrs experience Warehousing and Logistics
Dangerous Goods by Air Certification
Dangerous Goods by Road Certification
License to operate a Forklift (LF)
Basic Rigging and Load Restraint Certification
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
High level of attention to detail and excellent accuracy.
