Quality Supervisor Manages a team of Quality Inspectors and leads, Develops, implements and maintains the activities of quality control systems. Oversees development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications. Ensures finished products conform to government and company standards and satisfy good manufacturing practices regulations. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Fulfilling the following role in a safe manner in-line with the business Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Guidelines.
Lead day to day Quality operations
Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities to meet customer demand.
Good working knowledge of company processes and procedures and applies them effectively and appropriately.
Thorough understanding of all platforms, the inspection points and process for both Compute and Network.
Thorough understanding of IQC, Decant, Assembly, Rack Build, RSI QC, Repair, Final Rack QC and Pack Out QC inspection.
Prevent failures passing forward to the customer by upward reporting of failures.
Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Prevention Action Plans.
Assess and evaluate all reliability testing, equipment service and calibration and the verification process.
Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
Suggest, implement and support improvement ideas or activities to benefit the product, process or business.
Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Conduct regular conference calls with Divisional Quality, customers or vendors and provide reports as needed.
Work with internal Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.
