PRINICIPAL DUTIES:
Determine current skill, knowledge, and behavior levels and assess gaps toward accomplishing company goals and objectives.
Prioritize training needs based upon their impact on organizational goals, employee performance, and potential Return on Investment (ROI).
Create and manage a comprehensive plan that includes training content, delivery methods, timelines, and evaluation methods.
Create and manage training materials and delivery methods that are engaging, informative, and relevant.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of effective training.
Define goals and objectives and collect data to measure the effectiveness of training.
Identify and report areas for improvement.
Modify content, delivery methods, and evaluations methods as necessary.
Provide access to learning resources.
Encourage participation in training and development activities.
Ensure key leadership and managers are developing individually and as units.
Develop, locate, and manage team-building opportunities at all levels.
Work with department heads to create development and succession plans.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Five years of experience leading and conducting existing training and development programs with an ability to design and implement similar programs in new environments.
Five years of experience designing and implementing employee training and development programs preferred.
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively
Strong writing and record-keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
Good computer and database skills.
Participation in/familiarity with Entrepreneurial Operating Systems (EOS) preferred.
Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) credential preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must display a willingness to assist the business in other areas of capability, as necessary.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
