The Marketing Manager will de?ne, plan and ensure the implementation of product marketing strategies for the Gearing and Drives product portfolio that meet business objectives. They will oversee and support the field sales organization in driving sales and services of respective products. The successful candidate will assume accountability and ownership for the Gearing product portfolio. The role is based in Springville, NY and reports to the General Manager.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Development & implementation of strategies to ensure annual revenue growth meets corporate objectives.
Develop, implement and maintain digital marketing and social media visibility.
Develop product strategies in coordination with the sales teams and the product manager.
Develop relationships with large key distributor and OEM customers, focused on product development and partnership growth.
Identify existing and emerging markets, customers and applications utilizing current and new product development supporting business growth.
Drive and maintain five-year product roadmap utilizing voice of customer, engineering expertise and emerging technologies.
Develop, manage & deploy pricing strategies across all verticals, ensuring profitability and growth.
Develop, implement & maintain online content, including configuration tools, technical specifications & drawings and competitive cross references.
Develop an overall products branding strategy to maximize business long-term growth.
Integrate specific product, market, channel, customer service, and sales processes into the comprehensive marketing plan.
Explore and understand new gearing possibilities and concepts which may be of interest to our current and potential markets and customers.
Develop training to conduct product seminars and training sessions.
Experience and Education Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or marketing required.
Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience preferred.
Proven experience as a professional product marketing executive in industrial applications.
Experience in industrial professional sales, product management, or sales engineering preferred.
Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
Effective follow-up, analytics and project management.
Experience in mergers & acquisition product integration preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced skill with all MS Office products
Knowledge of Oracle, SAP OR D365 preferred
Strong organizational skills
Travel Required
Must be able to travel 25% of the time
