Job Title: Techno-Functional UKG Dimensions Employee Time & Attendance Management role (Director)
Job Duration: 4 mo initial contract, possibility to extend
Job Location: Atlanta, GA (Cumberland/Vinings area) (Primarily onsite)

Experienced in design problem-solving
Experienced in Employee Central and SAP S/4 payroll preferred
Job Summary:
Provides central leadership, coordination, and direction for the planning, implementation, and assessment of employee time and absence management.
Responsible for providing business and technical architectural guidance to development teams and District leadership by functioning as a liaison between IT and End User Groups.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to document requirements, configure, test, and manage implementation tracking to keep projects on budget and on time.
Also, ensures employees and managers know their responsibilities related to timekeeping, provides training where needed, and assists school-based Time Managers to identify and resolve errors related to employee worktime and absences.
Essential Duties:
In-depth knowledge of the UKG Dimensions Timekeeping and Scheduling modules and mobile application Technical support duties to include, but not limited to hyperfind/Dataview Creation
Compiles and analyzes time and attendance data and maintains related reports
Performs end of pay period reviews to ensure all entered time is approved and submitted by school-based Time Managers (TM) prior to payroll cutoffs
Identifies potential errors through missed punch reports and proactively works with TM/employee on corrections
Identifies any calculation issues within the UKG-D configuration/logic for the timekeeping system (i.e., straight time and overtime, leave accrual, etc.) and analyzes pay rule design for process improvement opportunities
Responds to school-based Time Managers inquiries related to time keeping
Assists school-based Time Managers to ensure employees are accurately capturing time for PTO, Holiday periods and other less frequent events
Updates basic UKG-D system configuration, such as adding new departments or jobs to the business structure, creating new pay-codes, maintaining basic schedules, and assigning security roles
Receives communications from IT/UKG-D support regarding major system release upgrades and maintenance windows
Interprets and explains FCS time and labor policies and the various related personnel rules
Generates and distributes compliance reports on timecard approvals and retro pay changes due to timekeeping errors
Adjusts work schedules to meet District emergency situations
Ensures compliance of internal controls, and governing federal and state laws
Participates in or oversees the development of training programs specifically related to time and attendance to maintain adherence to time keeping practices
Maintains job aids and knowledge base articles related to time keeping system
Reviews and revises the District policies and guidelines related to employee time and attendance
Responds to employee/supervisor inquires and concerns regarding time and attendance in a timely manner
Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline required
Certification/Licensure:
UKG Dimensions certifications highly desirable
Experience Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on work with UKG WFC/Dimensions functional technical areas: Timekeeping, Mobile app, and System configuration in an environment of a similar size/complexity
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Experience with UKG-Dimensions (Kronos)
UKG Dimensions configuration, best practices, and problem research/troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of technical principles, practices, and procedures to implement and maintain system solutions
Experience providing business management leaders with system provided technical or business solutions
Practical knowledge related to Business principles (Payroll, General Ledger, Accounting)
Experience with Employee Central and SAP S/4 payroll preferred
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Excel
Ability to consistently and efficiently meet established deadlines and timely respond to problems with employees and co-workers
Strong attention to detail
Ability to make public presentations
Ability to supervise and work effectively with departmental personnel
Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
