Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations for a workforce of 2,000+ employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in processing payroll using both SAP and Oracle systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll regulations, and the ability to lead payroll processes efficiently while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process for over 2,000 employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll cycles.
Utilize SAP and Oracle platforms to handle payroll tasks, including processing salaries, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and labor laws, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes.
Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
Lead, train, and mentor payroll team members to achieve high standards of operational efficiency.
Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and issues.
Ensure accurate payroll reporting and provide detailed reports to management as required.
Coordinate year-end payroll activities, including tax reporting and audit preparation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, preferably with large-scale operations (2000+ employees).
Proficiency in SAP and Oracle payroll systems.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing a payroll team.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
