We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic MRO Global Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, particularly within the power generation sector, and possess the ability to manage sourcing activities on a global scale. This role is crucial for optimizing our maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supply chain to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for MRO products and services.
Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure the best value and terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to understand sourcing needs and specifications.
Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements as needed to ensure quality and compliance.
Manage the procurement process, including purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier relations.
Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations in all sourcing activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics within the power generation sector.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a focus on MRO in the power generation industry.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to MRO procurement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) are a plus.
