Location: Manhattan, NY (HYBRID position; in-office 2 to 3 days per week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 work hours per week)
Pay Range: $27 to $30 per hour
Overview: Our leading Eyewear client is looking for a Product Strategy Coordinator that will support Strategy Managers in all aspects of the strategy and development process. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint is a must for this role. Candidates possessing experience in any of the following categories of the Fashion industry are preferred: Product Management, Product Development, Accessories, Merchandising, and/or Business Development.
Responsibilities: • Line Management:
o Upkeep of product catalogs
o Technical line sheet for license
o General upkeep of PLM data integrity
o Collection training tools
o Support on all product development milestones • Reporting:
o Pull information from data systems (including monthly reports)
o Upper management report preparation (requires high level of accuracy)
o Product reviews
o Competitive market deep dives
o Ad-hoc analysis • Material Management:
o Assist with new material development
o Assist organizing samples
o Assist in maintaining the integrity of the material libraries
o Preparation for meetings (IE: placing sketches on boards, preparing color forms, preparing prototype kick-off forms, printing materials for meetings)
Qualifications: • B.S./B.A. degree in Merchandising Management and/or Product Development. • 3+ years of relevant work experience (past experience in Product Development and line planning strongly preferred). • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. • Previous experience with reporting, recruiting, and data analysis. • Ability to organize and prioritize. • Adaptability and flexibility to both work individually as well as within a team. • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and analysis skills. • Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication (including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms), as well as project and time management skills are essential.
