With a commitment to fostering growth and innovation, our client is looking for a professional to join their IT department and provide essential administrative support to the CIO and team of directors.
Job Description:
In this position, you will serve as an IT Administrative Assistant, providing critical support to senior IT leaders. Your role will be essential in managing schedules, coordinating travel, assisting with office events, and maintaining seamless operations for the IT team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in IT and support high-level executives within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrative support for the CIO and IT leadership team, managing schedules, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
Facilitate team operations, including document preparation, meeting coordination, and logistical support for events and presentations.
Act as a liaison with other departments, vendors, and clients, ensuring smooth and timely communication.
Maintain and update IT department org charts and email distribution lists.
Support office management needs such as facility requests and office moves.
Work closely with a second IT Administrative Assistant to ensure coverage across the IT leadership team.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of executive administrative support experience in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience in a law firm, professional services, or IT department.
Familiarity with document management systems like iManage or Net Documents.
Typing speed of 50 WPM or higher.
