Works with Director of Client Finance to facilitate and manage client financial activities within the organization.
Responsibilities
Manages client revenue/budgets and client profitability
Analytical review of revenue and employee utilization
Assists in prioritizing assignments through daily and weekly updates to discuss progress, status, accuracy and deliverables
Interface with client groups to assure accuracy and completeness of client data, reporting, and contract compliance
Anticipates and rapidly responds to assigned special projects
Aggressively pursues new ways to enhance overall agency profitability
Tasks
Development of client staffing plans in conjunction with account and project management.
Review monthly revenue and prepare revenue accruals based on business process.
Maintain client contractual rate cards
Monitor employee utilization and ensure time recording is current.
Validate and activate projects within the financial system to ensure proper allocation of revenue by client/discipline/activity
Create and improve reports which collect, summarize and analyze account information inclusive of Contribution Margin and Labor Reconciliations
Stays abreast of agency and client competitive environment
Represent Finance in client budget meetings regarding revenue and labor
Qualifications • Must be an industry leader with 3-5 years of experience of client financial analysis within an advertising agency • Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships (Excellent communication skills, both written and oral) • Strong problem solving skills, and detail-oriented • Minimum of a Bachelors degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
