Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Demand Generation to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and executing successful demand generation strategies, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and attention to detail. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B marketing and a background in working within a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive demand generation strategy to drive qualified leads and revenue growth. Align demand generation activities with overall business goals and sales objectives.
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, paid advertising, SEO, and events. Ensure all campaigns are integrated and aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on campaign performance and lead generation activities. Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of demand generation professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and integration of demand generation efforts. Collaborate on content creation, messaging, and targeting strategies.
Marketing Automation: Manage and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to streamline processes and improve lead management.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and achieve targets.
Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve demand generation strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Start up experience is A MUST! GREAT at execution + building strategy
7+ years of experience in demand generation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in a startup environment, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with proficiency in using marketing analytics tools.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Deep understanding of B2B marketing and lead generation best practices.
Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
