We are seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal representation to our clients in insurance defense cases.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases from inception to trial
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
Attend court hearings and depositions
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in the preparation of cases
Qualifications
JD from an ABA approved school
Must be licensed in your state
1-7 years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition and trial preparation
Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial
Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills
