OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Director of Billing Operations will oversee and manage the billing department. The Director will ensure accurate and timely invoicing, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and continuous improvement of billing processes. The Director will play a crucial role in building and supporting competencies for the continuous improvement of Acumen's growth and development.
Oversee Billing Processes: Manage the billing department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all clients.
Oversee Revenue assurance: Identify possible inaccuracies ensuring prevention in lost or inaccurate revenue reporting
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local billing regulations.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing operations.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop billing staff to achieve departmental goals.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on billing activities to senior management.
Audit and Reconciliation: Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of billing records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Sales, and other departments to align billing processes with organizational goals.
Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement billing software and systems to improve operational efficiency. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in billing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency in billing software.
In-depth knowledge of billing regulations and best practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex issues.
Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to improve processes.
