The ideal candidate will oversee the project execution processes, engagin with key contractor project managers and driving proejection execution process efficiencies to scal business. They will coorindate closely with contractors, CANTEX operations, finance and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Manage project execution process, supervise team members, supervise assets and early project developments for company investments.
Manage weekly calls to track and monitor progress and meet deadlines.
Oversee project budget, control costs and maintain project viability.
Review construction contracts for adherence throughout contract lifecycle. Hold contractors accountable to project schedules.
Track project milestones, diligence deliverables installation schedules and project costs throughout all phases. Make adjustments as necessary and prepare and present reports.
Analyze project outcomes and identify areas for improvements in futuer projects.
Track ROI on all completed projects.
Oversee process to manage project funding requests and payments.
Qualifications
Must possess excellent time management skills despite conflicting tasks and evolving priorities.
Must be a proactive team player comfortable in a multi-disciplined, fast-paced team environment.
Understanding of complex manufacturing processes and technologies used in their construction.
Desire and ability to learn and apply the latest technologies in new product development or their improvements.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (5-10 years' experience) in engineering, project management or related field along with experience in manufacturing and project management leadership.
Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
Strong verbal communication, written communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills, particularly in Solidworks, AutoCad, Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint and Outlook. Experience with SolidWorks Simulation toosl, CFD or other similar softwares is a plus.
