Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Product Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting both the production and development teams in the seamless execution of the product lifecycle, from initial concept to final production. You will help maintain schedules, coordinate with vendors, and track orders, while also assisting in sourcing, logistics, and quality control processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to ensure that products meet both design and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the product development and production teams in managing timelines and meeting key milestones for product launches.
• Assist in sourcing trims, fabrics, and raw materials as required for both development and production, ensuring quality standards align with design goals.
• Track the development and production sample cycle, coordinating with domestic and overseas vendors to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Manage the flow of samples and materials between departments, including tracking and organizing collections for sales agents and global partners.
• Conduct initial quality control checks on samples to ensure they meet specifications for fit, construction, and overall quality.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation for production and development, including purchase orders, tech packs, and production schedules.
• Collaborate with the design, technical, and production teams to communicate progress updates and quickly address any issues or changes needed in the product.
• Track shipments for both materials and samples, ensuring timely deliveries in alignment with the production calendar.
• Help coordinate approvals for lab dips, strike-offs, color standards, and other sample details, ensuring consistency with design intent.

Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of experience in garment product development, with strong knowledge of woven and garment construction.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for tracking, reporting, and communication.
• Experience in sourcing or working with suppliers and managing order timelines is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across departments to ensure alignment on production and development goals.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Chinese is a plus.
