Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee the construction of multifamily housing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of multifamily construction projects from start to finish
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that work is completed to the highest quality standards
Maintain a safe working environment for all construction workers and subcontractors
Attend meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress
Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction and implement effective solutions
Communicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met
Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and completed
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in construction, with experience in multifamily, garden-style, senior living, and/or student housing projects
Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in managing and leading teams
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
