Superintendent Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial construction projects, specifically in the restaurant and retail sectors. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
Maintain project budgets and forecasts, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably with a focus on restaurants and retail.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
