Position Overview: The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with personal lines clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with the highest level of service and professionalism. This role requires a deep understanding of personal lines insurance products, exceptional communication skills, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with personal lines clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their insurance needs and concerns.
Policy Administration: Oversee the administration of personal lines insurance policies, including policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Coverage Review: Conduct thorough reviews of clients' existing insurance coverage to ensure adequacy and recommend necessary adjustments or additional coverage based on changing needs.
Claims Support: Assist clients with the claims process, including filing claims, providing documentation, and following up with insurance carriers to ensure timely resolution.
Sales and Retention: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products, contributing to the growth and retention of the client portfolio.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve client issues and concerns in a prompt and professional manner, escalating complex cases as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, underwriters, and insurance carriers to provide comprehensive solutions and support for clients.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a proven track record in account management or client service.
Licensing: Valid Property & Casualty License
Skills:
Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, including auto, home, and umbrella coverage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and address their needs effectively.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
