Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Tax Manager. The main objective of this position is to provide exceptional service to clients on all property tax aspects. We have positions available in either Houston, Gainesville or Oklahoma City.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of the property tax process, including valuation, assessment, and appeals.
Review and manage client contract terms, scope of services and fees. Oversee client billing and ensures timely collection of receivables
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities.
Proactively secure tax abatements and exemptions
Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and other documentation as needed.
Research and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in property tax consulting.
TDLR or CMI License or other certification are preferred
Energy industry experience is preferred
