Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax reporting and compliance within the organization. The candidate must have excellent analytical skills and experience in Tax Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
Calculate tax payments and estimate quarterly payments
Research and analyze tax law changes and provide recommendations for the organization
Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve tax-related issues
Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tax Accounting
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Experience in Tax Services, Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, Sales Tax Services, and Accounting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player and reliable
