Tax Manager Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage our tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic tax planning and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, and corporations.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to high-net-worth clients and businesses.
Review and analyze financial statements and tax documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals and support staff, fostering their professional development.
Stay updated on tax legislation changes and assess the impact on clients' financial situations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance.
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management or a related field.
Experience in handling tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals and various business entities.
Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and laws.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
