Position Overview The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the audit process for our clients. This role requires a highly skilled CPA with experience in audit management, as well as strong knowledge of Quickbooks, auditing, accounting, tax, risk management, and quality control. The ideal candidate will also have experience with EBP, government, and not-for-profit audits. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of auditors and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall audit process for clients, including planning, execution, and reporting
Review and analyze financial statements and related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
Provide guidance and support to audit team members, including conducting performance evaluations and mentoring
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or issues
Assist in the development and implementation of audit policies and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate potential risks
Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met
Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting and auditing standards and regulations
Collaborate with other departments, such as tax and consulting, to provide comprehensive services to clients
Participate in business development activities, such as attending networking events and identifying opportunities for new clients
Qualifications
CPA certification is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit management
Strong knowledge of Quickbooks, auditing, accounting, tax, and risk management
Experience with EBP, government, and/or not-for-profit audits is a plus
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
