The Tax Senior will be responsible for providing high-quality tax services to clients, including individuals, partnerships, S-corps, trusts, estates, and C-corps. They will work closely with the tax team to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and provide guidance and support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, trusts, estates, and C-corps
Conduct tax research and provide guidance on various tax issues and implications
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address any tax-related inquiries
Review and analyze financial statements and tax returns to identify potential tax savings opportunities
Assist with tax planning and projections for clients
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance for clients
Train and mentor junior tax staff
Qualifications
CPA certification is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, S-corp, trust, estate, and C-corp tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
