Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations in multiple regions. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the financial records are accurate, timely, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of accountants and oversee all aspects of the accounting department
Ensure accurate completion of transactional accounting processes, including AP, AR, and GL
Monitor financial records to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Lead the audit process, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation
Manage tax filings and compliance with all tax laws and regulations
Assist with acquisition integrations and consolidation of financial records
Monitor job profitability and provide financial forecasts to senior management
Develop and track KPIs to measure the success of the accounting department
Implement and maintain internal controls and policies to ensure compliance
Prepare backlog reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
Proficient in ComputerEase and other ERP systems a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or equivalent certification required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in green-technology industry
Strong knowledge of transactional accounting processes and financial records
Experience with audits, tax filings, and consolidation of financial records
Experience with acquisition integrations and job profitability analysis
Strong financial forecasting skills
Proficient in US GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Experience with implementing and maintaining internal controls and policies
Strong communication and management skills
