Tax Manager Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all tax-related matters for our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability for the organization
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns
Conduct tax research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
Advise management on tax implications of proposed business decisions
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
Supervise and mentor tax staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting
Experience with tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research
Knowledge of international, real estate, multi-state, and federal tax laws and regulations
Experience with corporation, pass-through, trust, and estate taxation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
