We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team, specializing in JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne 9.2 and Oracle Demand Planning. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between business requirements, process and technology solutions, ensuring our ERP environment aligns with our organizational needs. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to provide both strategic insights and day-to-day support, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication with business stakeholders. Candidate will work in a corporate environment working with managers and staff and should have a good understanding of core distribution processes such as: Demand Planning, Finance, Sales orders to cash, procurement to payables processes, and working knowledge EDI processes and warehouse management systems.
Pay is commensurate with experience. This role is bonus eligible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Business Requirements • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives, translating these into JDE system solutions where appropriate and process changes to improve efficiency and increase productivity. • Perform impact analysis on solutions and create before-and-after process flows (e.g., swim lanes, process flows, diagrams) • Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, use-cases, and functional specification • Work on system integrations, data migrations, and other projects to align JDE with organizational initiatives and business processes. • Work closely with the IT team to ensure system changes comply with data integrity and security standards. • Ensure changes are properly documented, tested, communicated, scheduled, and released with minimal impact to the enterprise.
2. Business Solutions Design • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on JD Edwards 9.2, advising on best practices and leveraging the latest features. • Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems. • Work closely with Architect, Application Development and business units to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. • Discuss findings with IT peers and the business unit designing an appropriate improved solution. • Proactively identify solutions to address potential systems, design or business process issues and present to both IT and business stakeholders. • Understand current system limitations and pain points and identify technical and process solutions to address root causes of issues.
3. Testing • Develop testing schedules, create use cases, and conduct systems testing and user acceptance testing. • Investigate new features of application and related technology before release, providing feedback to application development as appropriate.
4. Training • Provide training and support to end-users and team members, developing user training manuals and materials to aid in adopting new system changes. • Providing training to users of the new system or information on the enhancements/features introduced. • Cross-train and mentor other team members in technologies, standards, processes and methodologies.
5. Additional Responsibilities • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets related to JDE applications, ensuring system stability and optimized performance. • Configure, test, and deploy new functionalities and enhancements within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 environment. • Be part of the on-call after-hour application rotation team handling urgent and Sev 1 issues. • Accountable for properly following all IT standards, processes and methodologies as applicable including but not limited to Quality Assurance (QA), Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). • Suggest and lead areas for improvement in internal processes. • Prioritizes and plans work activities to support a fast-paced distribution environment; sets goals and objectives; uses time efficiently; communicates activities and results as appropriate • Takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits feedback to improve service; meets commitments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
Preferred bachelor's degree in information technology, IT Administration, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
Qualifications/Experience
Expertise with JD Edwards 9.2 and familiarity with its latest features. (UX One, Café One, Orchestrator)
Proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of JD Edwards modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Distribution.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve support tickets with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Familiarity with system integrations, data migration, EDI processes and business process mapping.
Experience working with core distribution business processes such as Demand Planning, Sales to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Warehouse Management.
Ability to interpret and communicate client business processes and requirements.
