Job Title: IT Technical Helpdesk Specialist
Location: Pflugerville TX Onsite
Duration: 12 months
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Helpdesk Specialist with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), a strong Microsoft background, and experience in network issue resolution, debugging, crash assessment, and network testing. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems for our users in Austin.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role. • Strong expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools. • Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and applications. • Solid understanding of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications: • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, ITIL Foundation). • Experience with network diagnostic tools and techniques. • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques. • Knowledge of security best practices and data protection.
