Focus:
Lead and provide advanced mechanical engineering support for Gateway Systems projects, serving as a Subject Matter Expert.
Deliver outstanding technical support to gateway staff by assisting with fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and the repair of complex equipment.
Innovate and improve system processes through detailed analysis and the implementation of automation solutions.
Develop and maintain critical documentation, including technical bulletins, operation manuals, and maintenance procedures.
Collaborate actively in the installation, commissioning, and rigorous testing of new systems and technologies.
Enhance the training programs for technical support, tailored for diverse company roles, fostering broad-based technical competencies across the organization.
Skill Set:
Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years' experience in the satellite communications or a closely related industry, with a strong focus on mechanical engineering.
Expertise in Network Timing within data/telecommunication environments.
Demonstrated experience with GPS sourced NTP timing and synchronization, particularly in a high-stakes, technical production setting.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex problems effectively.
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus.
Must be willing to engage in domestic and international travel and participate in an on-call rotation.
