Role Summary & Impact
The Senior Director, Investment, plays a crucial role at Empower - you are the bridge between media activation, planning teams, partners, and clients. You thrive in coaching junior employees, can communicate to executive leadership, and ultimately act as a client partner.
We are seeking someone with strong media investment foundations with operational excellence, fueled by performance, and who enjoys breaking the norm by pushing for innovation across all aspects of media. Our approach to investment is integrated media with a focus in digital direct partnerships and programmatic. The ideal candidate can take complex scenarios and simplify them into an actionable gameplan, actionable milestones, flawless execution, and ability report on insights. This client-facing role will require a candidate with strong communication and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of tactical media plans and implementation of digital media plans.
Manage requests for proposal, negotiations, and ongoing management of the campaigns.
Deliver high-quality and innovative media plans for clients, taking the lead on building and presenting tactical recommendations to clients.
Ensure executional excellence across campaigns, responsible for overseeing campaign buying, trafficking and QA.
Collaborator across teams including Planning, Ad Ops, Data Science and Analytics teams.
Oversees accuracy of weekly and quarterly reporting deliverables with the ability to turn data into insights with actions.
Lead communication with media vendors and stay up to date with marketplace trends to inform tactical recommendations and POVs.
Act as the primary liaison between media vendors and clients.
This role requires someone who is an expert multi-tasker, responsible for overseeing all aspects campaign execution and coaching junior employees.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Advertising, Media, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, OR equivalent professional work experience.
10+ Years experience in Media Investment.
Experience in Prisma, Campaign Manager, and operation excellence in trafficking and billing
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel.
Experience leading reporting and pulling data from dashboards
Strong communication and storyteller.
Experience in media planning and buying of digital channels including CTV/OTT, Online Video, Audio and Influencer channels.
Steward positive client relationship by being responsive, accountable and detailed oriented.
