LHH Recruitment Solutions two openings for Manager of Manager of Maintenance and MEP Projects for our client in the Lyndhurst, NJ area. This direct hire role allows you to expand your maintenance career within a fast-paced athletic facilities industry! This on-site position requires a minimum of eight-year current experience in a director and/or Management of Maintenance/Engineering experience and prefers candidate that have a strong background within MEP, preferably within the HVAC and facility industries.
Salary range: $157,000.00.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee maintenance operations, capital improvement projects, project forecasting, etc.
Oversee setup and breakdown of any equipment for events.
Must be willing to work "on-call and attend all events"
Perform and document inspections of HVAC, lighting, elevators, fire systems and schedule/perform repairs as needed.
Ensure completion of tasks by overseeing directives to technicians, vendors, and supervisors.
Oversee annual budget, capex management, coordinating projects, initiate corrective actions, and forecast/analyze any long-term operational downtime and/or issues.
Ensures proper environment and continuous improvement for the educational process by determining work priorities through scheduling of repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, equipment, and systems.
Creation of and implementation of preventive maintenance programs by reviewing maintenance reports and statistics, review quality control reports, and inspecting operating machines, equipment, and systems for conformance with operational standards.
Develops initiatives and uses a technical approach to oversee aspects of process resolution, and continuous improvement toward improved production, production costs decrease, and reliability.
Oversees capital improvement and renovation projects; reviews project specifications; analyzes design, and ensure monetary goals are met by performing preliminary and final review for construction projects.
Identifies current and future maintenance requirements with engineers, with local/state/federal staffs, tradesmen, technicians, vendors, and other persons in a position to understand maintenance requirements.
Manage the technical team in a manner that supports teamwork and development while providing technical leadership within any issues regarding maintenance.
Use safe working policies and practices consistently.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent highly preferred with an MEP focus.
NJ PE Certification REQUIRED.
Valid driver's license required as well as ability and willingness to obtain a Commercial Drivers License.
Minimum (8) eight years of experience in a facilities maintenance management, construction management or engineering management with a primary focus in MEP.
Must be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, utilization of situational leadership, servant leadership and the creation of a vision for the department.
Willing to work evenings, weekends and on call as needed.
