Position Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and maintaining a robust Quality System that ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with all levels of the organization, customers, vendors, and government representatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and procedures.
Lead and coordinate the site's quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Serve as the Management Representative for the AS-9100 Quality Management System.
Oversee the performance of the Quality Assurance Department, including staff development and training.
Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify and address quality issues.
Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality throughout the production process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the technical field.
10+ years of Quality Assurance management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in the rubber or composites industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience within the DOD setting.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing process control, root cause determination, and corrective action.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and military specifications.
