Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Technical Sales Project Manager at Mektec International Corp in San Jose, CA. The Technical Sales Project Manager will be responsible for expediting projects, managing logistics, overseeing inspections, and ensuring efficient project management on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Promptly handle customer inquiries and follow up by direct communication
Work closely with customers to understand business needs and recommend continual improvement and innovation plans to maintain and grow sales
Work with Design Engineers to provide engineering support to guide customer to best product solutions and facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
Provide technical support to customers based on product understanding
Manage project by executing and following company work flow
Prepare pricing proposal, present quotations and negotiate order details with customers
Interface with Customer, Factory and Design Engineers on production and prototype orders
Work closely with Engineering Department to determine how products and services could be designed or modified to best suit customer's need
Obtain and update technology roadmaps, development and production schedules from customers
Work with manager to develop and execute strategic plan
Coordinate and travel with the customer to Asia.
Mainly travel overseas to production facilities in China
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
