Position Summary
Stonehenge Capital, LLC (through its leasing company Stonehenge Capital Company, LLC) is currently seeking a candidate that can provide project management and project finance support for our Renewable Energy Tax Credit Equity and Tax Credit Transfer team. The position shall be located in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, Louisiana, or Columbus, Ohio, or be a fully remote position with quarterly in-person meetings to one of the major offices listed above.
Responsibilities Include
Lead project management for Stonehenge's Renewable Energy Tax Credit platform (equity, transfers, hybrids); includes initiating the closing process and managing such process through execution of final transactions documents and through various credit committees.
Provide general commercial review of documents across the Stonehenge Renewable Energy Tax Credit platform.
Review and provide commercial support on letters of intent or term sheets for tax credit services platform and other business initiatives.
Manage team of project managers
Manage outside legal counsel on various projects
Liaison to capital markets team on each project and provide subject matter expert support in fundraising and transferable tax credit sales
Preparation and review of tax credit underwriting memorandums, benefit schedules, projections, technical due diligence
Clearly communicate status of projects to internal team members and external taxpayer clients
Clearly communicate commercial positions with clients and understand client needs and expectations for transactions
Play key role in identification and structuring of new tax credit equity and other investment opportunities;
Must be agreeable to business travel when asked for company meetings, business meetings or conferences. Travel estimate at less than 20% but more than 10%.
Desired Experience
Minimum 3 years legal and/or project management experience in Renewable Energy project finance, Tax Credit Equity, or Tax Credit Transfers.
