AG Jeans is seeking a Director of Marketing & Creative.
AG Jeans is a pioneer and industry leader in the premium denim industry. It has grown recognized as a superior contemporary lifestyle brand, encompassing a full spectrum of premium products and brand imagery. The Director of Marketing and creative oversees the global marketing initiatives for the AG brand. They will provide strategic brand direction and vision, maximize media visibility, cultivate and develop creative marketing ideas, and manage staff development.
The Director of Marketing & Creative will report to the Creative Director and oversee the internal marketing team, photo studio, agency partners, and other cross-functional departments.
This role is a full-time, on-site, and in-person position.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with AG's PR agency. Serve as the point of contact for all media contacts. Support the company's PR initiatives to drive exposure. Manage budgets. Distribute communications regularly to management.
Build and nurture relationships with key media contacts and act as brand spokesperson when appropriate.
Manage the development, implementation, and coordination of internal and external marketing and public relations strategies for domestic and international markets.
Assist with cross-functional departments' marketing initiatives and requests, as needed.
Assist in identifying key brand partnerships to continue to build the AG brand and extend the brand's reach.
Oversee brand creative, including copy and imageries, and ensure brand standards are met and all objectives are being exceeded.
Attend various marketing events and promotions to act as the company's representative.
Collaborate with the President, Creative Director, other department heads, and international partners to ensure all collateral and communications remain consistent and adhere to brand guidelines, including launching new products and events.
Lead the artistic development and execution of individual projects in close collaboration with copywriters and graphic designers, under the guidance of the Creative Director.
Generate clear photo shoot ideas and concepts that align with brand and marketing goals.
Develop original concepts and execute designs based on brand style guides/principles.
Manage and delegate tasks among the marketing and creative team to ensure deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
Create and maintain relevant calendars, timelines, and budgets for the Marketing and Creative departments.
Stay current on design and industry trends and evolve with best practices, relaying information to the creative team.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, PR, English, or related business field.
At least 10 years of experience in PR and marketing within an agency and corporate environment.
Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language (verbal and written).
Strong media and publication relationships across the key markets to maximize media exposure and brand relationships.
Comprehensive experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with maximum accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Excellent ability to communicate concisely and openly within the organization and externally with agencies, partners, and key stakeholders.
Must show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes necessary.
Resourceful, innovative, and efficient at problem-solving.
Knowledge of project management tools; Asana is a plus.
A trained eye for design aesthetics and creative layouts with the ability to translate strategy across print, web, mobile, and video.
Extraordinary attention to detail and the ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change.

A genuine interest in and knowledge of the fashion industry.
