CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing:
Proactively sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, building a robust deal pipeline through industry relationships.
Utilizing advanced data analysis tools to extract actionable insights from large datasets and drive investment strategies.
Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to identify trends and potential investments.
Due Diligence:
Conducting in-depth due diligence on potential investments from pre-Seed to pre-IPO, including rigorous financial modeling, market analysis, and competitor assessments.
Crafting detailed investment memos and presentations, communicating key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Developing and articulating clear investment theses, leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to support decision-making.
Leading special projects and strategic initiatives within the firm, including the exploration of emerging trends and new market opportunities.
Portfolio Company and LP Support:
Monitoring and supporting portfolio companies, providing strategic insights to drive growth and optimize performance.
Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with co-investors, portfolio company management teams, Limited Partners, and industry partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, management consulting firm, venture capital fund, or in gaming corporate development or strategy.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field from a top-tier institution, with a GPA of 3.7+ / 4.0.
Exceptional analytical and Excel financial modeling skills, with a proven ability to identify and interpret trends within large data sets.
Experience in crafting detailed investment memos and presentations in PowerPoint and Word, with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships and an eagerness to develop networking skills.
Leadership instincts, with experience in taking initiative and driving projects to completion.
Track record of success in a high-performance environment, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure.
