Job Description: As a Project Manager for Ingenuity Engineers, you will oversee and manage various projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards. Your role is critical in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, fostering client relationships, and ensuring efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in MEP systems, and a proven track record of managing complex projects in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
  • Lead and manage projects throughout all phases, from conceptualization to closeout.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, regulations, and quality standards.

Client Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and performance evaluations to clients.

Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor project teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff.
  • Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and facilitate teamwork to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review project status, address issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Budget and Cost Management:
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and forecast costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.
  • Review and approve project invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.

Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that MEP designs and installations meet industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure projects are properly reviewed through our AS/QC process prior to all major milestone issuances.
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • Experience in project management within the MEP industry is required.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Asana, MS Project, Primavera) and a working knowledge of MEP design software (Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and MEP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, resolve conflicts, and drive results.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as required
