Responsibilities
Our customer, the Best Choice Employer, is growing their Professional Services engineering team.
The Professional Engineer provides a pivotal role on overseeing design and ensuring the quality assurance and quality control process for the work being performed by the design team.
The position involves direct involvement in engineering activities, applying knowledge to execute projects safely, effectively, efficiently and economically. Analyze, interpret, and stay abreast of latest regulations and criteria for local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
The Professional Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and estimating design work as well as contributing to the design and project management of complex projects when necessary. The Engineer must maintain a Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida and stamp drawings when required.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering required
Professional Engineers License required in the State of Florida
Knowledge of applicable regulations, related codes, and standards in telecom and civil engineering
Abilities to independently plan and schedule, with a focus on completing designs for large and/or complex systems
Must be able to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Job Requirements:
Prolonged Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Proficiency using a computer and common professional programs (ex: Office 365)
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Compensation and Benefits:
$100,000 - $130,000 with flexibility depending on candidate experience
Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage, Supplemental Insurance through Aflac, & 401k plan
