Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our construction team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of construction practices on underground utility projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Conduct site visits to gather data for cost estimation.
Prepare and submit detailed bids for projects.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting.
Monitor project costs to keep them within the approved budget.
Provide support during the construction phase to address any cost-related issues.
Qualifications (Required)
3+ years of estimating experience in underground utility construction
Experience estimating underground utilities, storm sewer, and/or sanitary sewer work
