Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in the K-12 and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites and ensure project timelines are met.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to ensure efficient workflow.
Oversee the quality of work and adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues that arise.
Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
Implement best practices in construction management and problem-solving.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, particularly in K-12 and commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Experience in managing various types of projects including ground-up, T.I., warehouse, and big box construction.
