Financial firm with offices in Boca Raton is seeking a trade support admin to support the relative value trading business. Will provide L1/L2/L3 support for the fixed income trading systems. Will provide direct support to the trading desk, providing all levels of trade support directly to traders and other business users. Will also be responsible for basic coding enhancements to trading system and/or trading tools.
Must have:
Min 2+ years trading systems support experience
Knowledge of trading system front-end (user interface)
Experience working directly with traders
Proficiency with monitoring tools, eg: Datadog or any similar product
C# or any similar language - modify/enhance trading system and trading tools
Fixed Income trading support experience preferred but not required
FIX protocol preferred but not required
Excellent soft skills to work directly with traders and other business users in fluid work environment

Role Overview
This position involves monitoring and providing L1/L2/L3 support of the Trading System used by the relative value trading desk. It offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of fixed income markets, incorporating a developer component that allows candidates to enhance the systems and tools that support trading activities. Candidates who excel will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of fixed income products. Additionally, effective communication and the ability to work under pressure will distinguish them, as they will need to navigate irregular working hours and collaborate closely with brokers and clients. Overall, this role provides a chance to develop expertise in a specialized area while contributing to a critical team in a hybrid work setting based in either New York or Florida.
The target clients are primarily Relative Value or Macro Hedge Funds involved in intra-day spreading. The desk employs low latency & high frequency infrastructure with an open-ended approach. The algorithms, trading front-end and a number of pre and post trade tools are developed in-house.
Responsibilities
Work closely alongside the trading desk, current development team and third parties, providing L1/L2/L3 support for the trading system
Actively tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure issues are known when they occur
Handle trading system reference data change requests
Performing software development (initially some rudimentary changes / additions, with training provided for more advance work)
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years Trading System Support experience
Trading Front End knowledge
Some coding experience and skillset
