ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the internal systems critical to running our business. The Senior Salesforce Developer will partner with a team of administrators and work closely with functional leaders and subject matter experts to identify business requirements, lead development, and provide support for Salesforce. Strong business management, systems strategy, and programmatic development skills are critical. In this role you will function as the IT liaison to the business through the system development life cycle.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
To ensure success as a Salesforce Developer, you should have extensive experience working with salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce Developer can create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that perfectly meet the evolving needs of the company.
Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions based on business requirements and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications. Develop and maintain complex Salesforce applications, including customizations, integrations, and enhancements. Create and optimize Salesforce workflows, triggers, and validation rules for process automation. Perform Salesforce platform configuration, including object and field creation, page layouts, and security settings. Design and implement custom Lightning components and Lightning web components to enhance user experience.
Design best practices and guidelines for platform stability and expansion, including detailed business requirements and risk mitigation. Provide direction and technical management for planning, designing, implementing, integrating, and operating dynamic enterprise systems. Develop business applications and integrations both individually and collaboratively with other team members. Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues in Salesforce applications, working closely with end-users. Collaborate with operational stakeholders, define requirements, suggest alternatives, and set priorities.
Design best practices and guidelines for platform stability and expansion, including detailed business requirements and risk mitigation. Provide direction and technical management for planning, designing, implementing, integrating, and operating dynamic enterprise systems. Develop business applications and integrations both individually and collaboratively with other team members. Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently.
Clearly and regularly communicate with technical colleagues and management. Work with internal customers to translate improvement project technical specifications into a roadmap and execute on those projects.
Provide leadership and direction for the rapid resolution of business-impacting issues affecting production systems. Own and drive projects from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution. Analyze and document complex system configurations, data movement, and business impact.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
5-8 years of total experience and 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Admin or Salesforce Developer (APEX, Visualforce, JavaScript, or Lightning).
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, Source Control (Git), and Salesforce coding best practices.
Experience developing Salesforce flows, formulas, and validation rules.
Understanding of the Salesforce data model and how to effectively extract, transform, and load data for efficient data management and utilization within the Salesforce platform.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing processes.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, systems engineering, computer science, or related experience.

SALARY: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
The above-range represents TaxRise's current good-faith pay scale for this role. TaxRise reserves the right to modify or update this range at any time.
