Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Innovator: Design and implement cutting-edge cloud-based data solutions on Azure or Google Cloud, ensuring scalability and performance.
Apache Expertise: Harness the power of Apache tools like Airflow, Spark, and Hadoop to streamline data processing and workflow management.
Programming Pro: Develop robust solutions using Java, Python, or C#, and optimize code for performance and efficiency.
Real-Time Data Solutions: Implement real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures with technologies like Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
Lead & Inspire: Mentor and guide a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Ensure Quality: Advocate for data governance and quality best practices to ensure the integrity and compliance of our data assets.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in data engineering, including developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration solutions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and the SSIS stack.
Expertise in designing and managing cloud-based data solutions on Azure or Google Cloud.
Knowledge or experience with Apache tools, including Airflow, Spark, and Hadoop.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
Experience with real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture, such as Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team of engineers.
Knowledgeable in data governance and data quality best practices.
Ability to understand and optimize current database architecture for enhanced performance and scalability.
Proven ability to optimize data performance and efficiency by tuning SQL queries and ETL processes.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD in data engineering.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
