Role Responsibilities
Assist in developing world-class SaaS services bringing space traffic coordination and spaceflight safety services to market
Collaborate with senior engineers and domain experts to design and implement algorithms
Participate in the software design lifecycle, contributing to proof of concept product development
Support the innovation and iteration process by incorporating feedback
Learn and apply API-first approaches to building software applications
Engage in a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Contribute to a positive engineering culture by participating in team activities and discussions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Familiarity with Agile Software Development & Kanban methodologies
Basic knowledge of cloud computing, preferably AWS (internships or academic projects acceptable)
Proficiency in Python and exposure to at least one system-level programming language (C, C++, Rust)
Understanding of software containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes preferred)
Basic knowledge of software test methodologies
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
Comfortable working in a Linux environment
Compensation:
Total compensation for this role is base salary + company equity
Colorado base salary range: $80-130k
