The MSRB is seeking a Business Analysis Manager to represent a product team, ensuring that customer and stakeholder value is achieved. This role involves guiding a team of business and data analysts, while aligning products with market needs and business goals. The Product Management department focuses on utilizing data, AI, and cloud technologies to support the municipal bond market; facilitating access to capital and promoting economic growth in communities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Set Vision: Define product vision and ensure alignment with company goals.
Prioritize Needs: Identify and prioritize client or user requirements.
Manage Backlog: Maintain and organize the product backlog of development features.
Develop Specifications: Create detailed specifications for product features, ensuring team understanding.
Lead Release: Oversee product release plans and set delivery expectations.
Act as Spokesperson: Represent client interests, share knowledge, and address inquiries.
Market Analysis: Identify improvement opportunities through market analysis.
Support Design Sprints: Assist in product design sprint processes.
Assess Work: Review daily progress and adjust the backlog as needed.
Coordinate Development: Collaborate with management on development, testing, and integration activities.
Guide Agile Practices: Coach teams on Agile/Scrum methodologies and their benefits.
Run Daily Activities: Manage daily development tasks, including scrum processes.
Manage Analysts: Optimize performance of business analysts and supervise staff per organizational policy.
Set Objectives: Establish employee objectives and monitor performance.
Develop Staff: Foster staff development to enhance team capabilities and readiness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business systems, computing, or related field.
Five years' experience with Product Management, agile, IT systems development methodologies and requirement gathering and documentation.
Three to five year's experience managing direct reports and/or leading projects.
Knowledgeable of JIRA software or Oracle databases.
