Calculated Hire is in search of a Business Execution Consultant IV - Corporate and Investment Banking for our Fortune 100 Financial Services company. You will be responsible for the following components:
Position Summary
Calculated Hire is seeking two skilled Process Engineers to support the end-to-end Lending Lifecycle with a primary focus on process optimization, harmonization, and targeted improvements across CIB. These contract roles will work with the team to identify process efficiencies, ensure alignment with Commercial Banking, and explore opportunities for automation, artificial intelligence, and streamlined workflows. These roles are remote, with a targeted onboarding period beginning in early December for immediate impact in the new year.
Key Responsibilities
Lending Lifecycle Optimization: Analyze and re-engineer end-to-end lending processes within CIB to identify and harmonize processes, specifically focusing on opportunities to streamline CRE business functions as they transition to nCino.
Process Analysis & Improvement: Utilize process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to assess and implement process enhancements, ensuring efficient and effective operations across underwriting, loan closing, and servicing functions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with CIB and CB teams, working in partnership with nCino process owners to maintain alignment and drive consistency in workflows across units.
Strategy & Investment Planning Support: Work with leadership to support the creation of a Target Operating Model that guides strategic investment in process improvements, helping direct budget allocations.
Documentation & Reporting: Provide clear, concise process documentation and contribute to strategy meetings, highlighting areas for harmonization and automation in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with CIB leadership, ensuring ongoing alignment on project goals and timelines; respond to leadership feedback as needed to keep deliverables on track.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in process engineering, with proven experience in lending lifecycle processes within a financial institution; demonstrated experience in a highly regulated environment is essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
Knowledge Base: Strong background in lending, underwriting, or loan closing functions; familiarity with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending is beneficial.
Analytical Skills: Adept at managing complex data, with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights
Soft Skills: Strong communicator with a hands-on, collaborative approach; able to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Process Engineering, or a related field required; Six Sigma certification preferred.
